The certification enables eDerm Systems software subscribers to connect to the Surescripts e-prescribing system to electronically transmit new and renew existing prescriptions with their patients’ pharmacies.

The service enables legible new prescriptions to be sent directly to the computer at a pharmacy of the patient’s choice. Renewal authorization requests can be sent directly to the practice’s prescribing application. Physicians can then review and respond to pending requests with a few keystrokes.
